Making a comeback

My dear friends,

Long has been my absence from SL. Unfortunately in RL I was severely injured in a car crash (in the middle of Miss CR Sims pageant too) that fractured vertebrae, broke bones, and generally messed me up pretty bad. :(
I've been in and out of rehab trying to walk straight again since October and I'm getting stronger each day.

I just wanted to send my love and affection to you all and apologize for not letting people know what happened. I was on briefly a month or so ago and spoke to Juliane Ames (my beautiful French friend) and let her know some of what happened.

Thank you Juliane, Marriah, Marielle, Giancarlo, JJake, and all who kept me in their wishes and thoughts. You're a large part of my successful return and I love you all..

Too Busy to Blog! :(

Hi everyone,

RL and SL have been so involved and full recently I've not had a chance to blog. Sorry about that. So what's new...I bought a SIM and have been working to get it in order and my new Sergio Botha house in order for a housewarming party. Yay! :)

We had our first challenge round in the pageant. We had to come up with an outfit of our choosing from multiple designers and then we met the judges, posed, and the it was the next girl's turn. I was the best, obviously! :D haha just kidding but it's my blog so I can write that. :D

Oh in case anyone is looking for property, I have one beautiful 8000 sqm lot at M&C Estates with a beautiful waterfall for sale at a ridiculously low price. I can even put a house on it if you want to rent instead. The cost to purchase is $15000 then the monthly tier paid to M&C Estates or you can rent for $16000/month. If you're really interested in purchasing, drop me a notecard and I know we can work something out. I'm always open to negotiation! :)

That being said I'm also selling or renting my beautiful little island in Costa Rica (because I just bought a SIM next door in Costa Rica). It's in Pacifico Norte, the first of the "Island Living" sims in Costa Rica and by far the best. It's 10,000 sqm and house a wonderful little Scarlet Red house on it now as well as a stone patio with lights and two Botha fountains (fabulous little dance area). It's marked for sale now and a HUGE price but this is just to make sure that only if you're really interested will I get an IM. Sorry but a lot of times I get capped by IM's.
Sooooo, if you want either of these please let me know and we can negotiate a good price. Just realize that the normal price for one of these sims in COsta Rica is around 30,000 - 45,000 L$ so please don't try to get my less than this. Whenever a new sim is opened in this area they sell FAST!

I'm also beginning a new venture (aside from now working for Ewing, Hoooo!)
I've started taking requests for customized graphics for Simboards and Surfboards (Epic boards...the best surfboards in Costa Rica) with Windboards coming soon. The cost starts around 750L$ and varies from depending on whether you already have a board and just need the design or whether you want me to deliver a brand new customized for you board and what level of graphics and detail you want. Some people want just their name, others want ornate and highly detailed work on both sides. Drop me a note card if you're interested! I'm also starting to do custom tables too! :D

Miss Costa Rica Sims voting round conclusion

Well everyone, the voting round one of the Miss Costa Rica Sims 2009 has come to an end. Thanks so much to all of you who voted, and even read a bit of this blog from time to time. It definitely a photo finish for the #1 spot right up until the last possible minute of voting and well, you can see the results in the photo..(by a nose is the term, right? hehe)



Now starts the judged round where we have to complete tasks and are judged accordingly. The first is to create an outfit from several different designers detailing the piece and how they work to create the look we're going for. Any suggestions?? :D

I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all those who made it into the top seven and my sorrow for the other beautiful ladies who did not make the cut. I wish it could have been all of us. *hugs*

Miss Costa Rica Sims 2009

Firstly I'd like to thank each and every one of you have casted your votes for me so far in the contest. Solely by the grace of you all am I am in the lead so far with 18 votes! Yay! The race is not over yet for the final 7 but with wonderful people like you I'm sure to make it that far. I promise to do all I can to support the SIM and represent each of you with elegance and grace that we come to expect from our home if I'm chosen Miss Costa Rica Sims 2009.

Time away

Wow I didn't realize it had been so long since I last posted. RL and SL has been hectic recently. I have knee surgery this Wednesday and have been getting things straightened out at work for my brief at-home recovery. :P

On the SL side there's always new news. Despite the disappointment with EFA's SL5B shows being canceled on Sunday and Monday and the events that occurred which prohibited me from doing the rest of the shows, they ladies all looked beautiful and the remaining shows went very very well. Congrats and love to all the girls who did the shows. Muaaahhhhhh! You were fabulous. A BIG specially hug and muaahh! to Ella Quinsette. You're the best! :))

In other news, thanks to all who sent me wishes and congratulations on being selected as a JCNY July Model'Fest finalist. A big hug to JD, the owner of JCNY, especially. I'll be on and off the runway at JCNY until Wednesday eve (well Wed may be weird because of my surgery) :P Please stop by and say hi if you get the chance.

Tonight, Sunday, in celebration of the opening of voting for Miss SL Universe and in celebration of the RL Miss Universe pageant held this evening (congratulations to Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza for this year's win) there was a fab party at SL Boulevard with Mui Mukerji, Frolic Mills, Sharron Schuman (thanks for the notecard Sharon :) ), Imogen Miklos, esskinny Juliesse, Kyrinnia Desmoulins, Genna Gossipgirl, and last but definitely NOT least...the sweet, beautiful, and superhot DJ Giela Delpaso. All the guys finished early so it ended up being a girl's night out. :D Thanks for a fabulous time everyone and my apologies for anyone I might have left out.

Ok..unless something happens I probably won't get to post again until after my operation and the painkillers wear off. :P No jogging for this girl for a while...of course that's why my knee started causing me problems in the first place so.....Anyway thanks for staying with this post till the end.
